Welcome to Mt. Olivet UMC
Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church is known for its warm, friendly people sharing in a common desire to find God’s purpose for our lives and celebrate God’s presence. God is in the handshake of a friend as you’re greeted at the church door. God is in the eyes of the children as they gather for the Children’s Message each Sunday morning. God is present in the music we share in worship. And God is even in the laughter and camaraderie of our fellowship time, church events, and family gatherings. We are people just like you, and we’re growing closer to God through Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
What To Expect
A typical service lasts about 50 minutes. Our worship team leads us in singing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music.
What Do People Wear?
At Mt. Olivet UMC, we’re pretty laid-back. People wear anything from dresses and ties to business casual to jeans and t-shirts. Whatever makes you comfortable is totally fine with us.
What Times Are the Worship Services?
Sunday at 10:30 am
Come and enjoy the uplifting sounds of traditional hymnal music during our Sunday service. After Children’s Time, your little ones can join our engaging children’s church session in the nursery while you continue to worship. We can’t wait to have you and your family with us!
Monday at 7:00 pm
We understand that weekends are busier than ever for many of us. That’s why we’ve extended our worship opportunities to Monday nights, allowing you to relax and give thanks after a hectic start to the week. Our Monday night service features a mix of contemporary and traditional music, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Please note that, currently, we don’t have a nursery attendant available for our Monday Night Service.
